Small Waxed Canvas Ditty Gear Bag
This bag was designed to hold whatever you can stuff in it. Double stitched seams means it can be stuffed to the brim and closed without worrying about blowing out the side. Made with 20 oz. waxed canvas, the bag measures approx. 7 ½” x 6 ¼". Paracord drawstring closure with a plastic cord lock to keep the bag closed. The canvas is stiff to close at first but wears in over time and helps to ensure the bag doesn’t work itself open. Perfect for keeping all your food in one place, it can also be used for your pocket stove, fire starting materials, candles, snacks, etc. This is a great gift for any outdoor enthusiast you know or even to add to your own pack.

Waxed canvas has been around for centuries, gaining popularity amongst sailors who used it for more efficient sails without waterlogging the sails. They would make gear for themselves out of the old sail remnants to protect themselves from the harsh elements while on deck. Martexin Original Wax uses an exclusive Martexin® finish, which makes it technically superior to other waxed cotton fabrics in performance, longevity, and dryness of hand. Martexin Original Wax is an environmentally friendly blend of food and pharmaceutical grade waxes, and is completely non-hazardous. This unique formula gives the fabric lifelong resistance to inclement weather and as the fabric ages, it develops a well-worn and comfortable patina. The patina develops with more and more use, in the same manner that leather ages and burnishes with time.
